The trampoline helper course is an introductory course, designed for young people who would like to take their first steps into coaching. After completion of this one-day practical course, you will be able to assist in the delivery of a trampoline gymnastics session.
Moves needed for the BG Proficiency Award Scheme up to Award 8, but excluding H & K FTO to Back.
Helpers can help clubs by offering support to lead coaches in sessions and creating further engagement with gymnasts. A qualified Helper can assist a Level 1 or above qualified coach or instructor with a group of gymnasts or, they can take their own group of up to eight gymnasts under the direct supervision of a lead coach.
This course will qualify you to be an assistant coach for trampoline gymnastics.

Note: Level 1 coaches are not qualified to support somersaults without another assistant coach. However with additional training, the assistant coach may assist a more highly qualified coach to support somersaults.
As a level 2 coach you will be able to work independently to help participants develop their skills, strength and co-ordination.
You are able to lead your own sessions, mentor and oversee fellow coaches, and open your own club.
You can also help participants develop the skills required to compete in entry-level competitions.
You will need to have already completed a UKCC Level 1 Trampoline Gymnastics Award.

Note: The level 3 trampoline gymnastics modules must be taken in sequence. The level 3 theory forms part of the level 3 qualification and this can be taken at any time during the learner’s progressions through the modules.
This qualification has been designed to provide coaches with the skills and understanding to support participants through a competition or display training cycle.
The course is designed to deliver the knowledge and skills required to understand how to plan effectively and apply theoretical concepts.

Full Level 3 credential is awarded once a coach has passed the Level 3 Coaching Theory and all Technical Modules.
